Prof. Parul is  GNM, PBBSC Msc nursing with community health nursing specialty, she has done PhD in ‘Yoga and Elder’,  she was working as lecturer in Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai since 1995, she has to her credit 24years experience in teaching and Hospital experience of 10 years. She is involved in community work and has been proactive in implementing social projects in rural India. She is also active in working with Elders and promoting the cause of Dementia. She is also involved in Geriatric Training and alternate therapy. Her simple and workaholic nature has made her sought after among her students and colleagues.
